is specific in terms of industry, geography and investment phase.
Industry: In line with the expertise and professional
experience of the management, Heidelberg Innovation invests
in the healthcare sector exclusively. Medical technology has
increasingly become the focus of activity.
Geography: As a general rule Heidelberg Innovation invests
in Germany and in neighbouring European countries (including
UK and Scandinavia). The geographic proximity supports the appropriate
level of Heidelberg Innovation's presence and attention to the
portfolio companies.
Corporate phase: Heidelberg Innovation has increasingly
focussed on later stages of company development. A clear path
to an exit in a foreseeable timeframe is necessary.
