of Euro 93 million. This fund invests supraregionally, above
all in Germany and neighbouring countries in life science,
medtech and biotechnology companies. The main investors are
the European Investment Fund as well as insurance companies,
banks, fund-in-fund investors and private individuals. Since
inception, three companies achieved an IPO and further four
were sold via trade sale.
Heidelberg Innovation parallel participation
As a supplement to BSV II, Heidelberg Innovation Parallel
Beteiligungs GmbH & Co. KGaA with a volume of Euro 20

to BSV II and therefore has the same investment focus.
